Editorial Policy

This page explains how Crypto News ETH decides what to write about, how articles are researched and written, and how commercial relationships are kept separate from editorial decisions.

Who writes the content

All articles on Crypto News ETH are written by Amer Fejzic, the site’s founder and sole editor. Amer has followed and used Ethereum since 2017. He writes from direct experience with the network: buying and holding ETH, using DeFi protocols, staking through liquid staking services, and bridging assets across Layer 2 networks.

Where a topic requires information beyond his direct experience, he relies on primary sources: Ethereum Foundation documentation, Etherscan data, official protocol specifications, and peer-reviewed or widely cited technical writing.

How articles are researched

Every article starts with a clear question or topic that readers genuinely search for. Research draws from:

  • The Ethereum Foundation website and official documentation
  • Etherscan and other on-chain data sources
  • Official protocol upgrade specifications (EIPs)
  • Ethereum developer forums and GitHub discussions
  • CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap for price and market data
  • Direct use of the products and protocols being described

We do not publish claims we cannot verify. If a specific number or fact cannot be confirmed through a primary source, it does not go in the article.

How articles are kept up to date

Ethereum changes frequently. An article written before a major upgrade may contain outdated numbers, outdated process descriptions, or information that no longer applies. We treat outdated content as an error.

Every guide and how-to article shows a “last updated” date at the top. When a material change occurs on the network, such as an upgrade that changes staking mechanics, fee structures, or wallet behaviour, the relevant articles are updated promptly. The update date changes and, where relevant, a note is added explaining what changed.

Price-related articles, including price predictions, are updated at least monthly.

Editorial independence

Crypto News ETH earns revenue through affiliate commissions. The affiliate relationships are disclosed in full on the Affiliate Disclosure page.

These commercial relationships do not influence editorial decisions. Specifically:

  • A product is not recommended because it pays a higher commission
  • A product is not excluded from a comparison because it pays no commission
  • Negative information about an affiliate partner is included where it is accurate and relevant
  • No company can pay to have content written, altered, or removed

We do not publish sponsored content disguised as editorial articles. If sponsored content ever appears on this site, it will be clearly labelled “Sponsored” at the top of the page and kept visually separate from editorial content.

Corrections policy

Mistakes happen. When they do, we correct them quickly and transparently.

If an article contains a factual error, we fix it as soon as we become aware of it. For significant corrections, we add a note at the top of the article explaining what was changed and when. We do not delete incorrect content silently.

To report an error, write to info@cryptonewseth.com with the article title, the specific claim you believe is wrong, and any sources you have. We review every correction request and respond within two business days.

What we do not publish

  • Price predictions presented as certainties
  • Investment recommendations for specific assets
  • Sponsored editorial content without a clear “Sponsored” label
  • Claims we cannot verify through a primary source
  • Content written to rank rather than to inform
